Objects of Desire progress

Sorry it's been a bit quiet on my blog the past week. I was attacked by a lovely stomach bug, and didn't do too much of anything until today. Thankfully I finally feel like I'm on the mend, so of course the first thing I did was get back to my sewing! Here is the completed top using my Objects of Desire layer cake. It's about 45 inches square.

And I had five blocks that I didn't use on the front, so I put them together as part of the back, along with three orphan blocks leftover from my Frolicing Pinwheels quilt. The only problem is, I don't have a piece of batting big enough to put this one together. So it will have to wait a few days.

I've started on a new project with a friend of mine. Hopefully I'll have something to show you from that in a day or two.

So sorry to hear you've not been felling well, but glad that you are better now. Lots of "yucky" stuff going around down here, too.
I just love those lines by Sandy Gervais....they are soooo bright and cheerful. And your backing is wonderful...great way to use up those blocks! I'll be looking forward to seeing your new project.

XOXO,

Cyndi

Cute Terry. I just love the back. It will make this quilt so you can use either side. Glad you are feeling better.

Love that quilt. Those fabrics are great. Your backing is adorable! I love being able to use up those extra fabrics and blocks that way.

Lovely quilt. That stomach bug is making its way around the country I believe. Folks at our church are getting it.

Hope you are on the road to recovery!

This is just too cute! I like the back almost as much as the front. It's a happy quilt.

BTW, I'm still stitching birdies... :(

I am not starting anything new until I finish that silly birdie quilt.
