Objects of Desire quilt done :0)

Even with the broken bobbin to deal with yesterday, I got quite a lot done. I did free motion quilting on my Objects of Desire quilt, then got the binding made and attached. So here we have finish number three for January. I really like that I pieced the back on this one, which helped to use up some leftover blocks. I just did lots of loops all over this quilt. I need a lot more free motion practice, but it works for now.

Another finish----great. Your free motion quilting is just fine . Maybe I will try loops, my meandering doesn't look so good. I need to practice, practice, practice, but I would rather be piecing.

Nice job with the FMQ Terry! suits the quilt very well! You get a real sense of satisfaction when you complete a quilt entirely yourself!!!!

I think it looks wonderful, too! I once heard a lecture from a quilt designer who told us "Finished is better than perfect" and I agree with that. I figure since I'm not putting my quilts in shows to be judged, as long as I'm happy with them, it's fine....and finished is GOOD!

Beutiful finish Terry! I'm wondering how long your DD persisted with the tangled threads before giving up.
