Time for hand sewing
I've done all the machine sewing I can for the moment on my Dresden plate blocks. All six are sewn together, and I have the middle circles ready to sew on too. But I ended up having only enough white for three of the blocks. So it's off to the fabric store I go to find something that will work for the other three blocks. The blue fabric in the middle is what I'll be using for the sashing and the backing. These are just some scraps I had...I ordered more today.

Those plates are so pretty - they make me think of spring, which after the ice we had this weekend is a good thought!

Very nice, Terry! I'm sure you will find a good white for the rest of the blocks and it will look terrific once it's all finished!
Very nice Terry, your sashing compliments your Dresden well. I haven't thought about sashing or borders yet. Know I will have to try and find some of the same line on line.
