A wee bit of shopping

I was a very good girl yesterday, and only bought a couple of things for myself. I just couldn't resist these two charm packs of Harvest Moon from Kansas Troubles. I already know what I want to make with them.

And then I saw this cute pumpkin runner pattern made with log cabin blocks. They had kits too and I even picked up the fabric bundle, but I put it back. I'm sure I can find some oranges and greens in my stash. If not, shopping for a few fat quarters will do when the time comes.

I also bought backing fabric for my Wonky Log Cabin quilt. I'm working on getting the top put together...it's just slow going. I have three rows all together, a fourth row ready to sew on, and a fifth row half sewn. Only two more rows to go after that! :0)

Love that piece and the fabrics you got, can't wait to see yours. I think things don't look as nice in a photo on a pattern, as it does made up.

Wow, how strong, to have left the bundle for what it was.
Yes, a very pretty pattern indeed.

At least you know what you want to make with your purchase. I bought yardage yesterday just because I love the print AND it was on sale but I have no idea what I'm going to make with it. And to think, I promised myself I would quit buying fabric unless I knew exactly what it was going to be used for.
