While I was making my wonky log cabin blocks, I decided that I didn't want to use any white or black fabric. So I set it all aside, thinking someday I'd make a black and white quilt. But I really don't want to make a black and white quilt, so I've decided to give away the black and white scraps I have. Some pieces are jelly roll strips and some are charm squares. It's just a little bit of everything. So if you're interested in these scraps, just leave me a comment. If there's more than one person who wants them, I'll pick a name in a few days. If nobody wants them, that's OK too...they'll just go to Goodwill.
And here are a few pictures I took in the yard this afternoon. My rose is still blooming like crazy. And some of the maples are beautiful colors while some are still green. That's good because that just means there will be more color for a few more weeks. And with winter coming on, that's a good thing! :0)

Your autumn pictures are gorgeous. I would love the B and W pieces too, but I think you should give them to your mom!
Give them to your mom.....I love Black and white...
Love blacks and whites, and I love scraps, made a couple of hexagon quilts out of scraps already.
I would love a chance at winning your scraps, I am collecting black and white to make me a quilt as well. Love your roses, wish we had smellavisions, and the leaves look fantastic, I love this time of the year.
LOL I was going to say 'me, me, me!'; but Momma's are very important and I think you should give them to her too. :-)
I agree about giving them to your mom. Love your roses!
Love to see the black and white on your mun's blog !!! Nice colors from your garden :-)
I would love to win those black and white bits. I seem to be lacking in black fabric when I looking for something.
Thanks for the chance.
Would love them Terry but not sure if you'd want to post them to Aus. Hugs,
Those look like wonderful scraps. I would love to increase my black and white collection and decrease yours! :-) Thanks so much. K-

Wonderful scraps....wouldn't mind adding them to my stash, just like everyone else. Wonderful fall pictures as well.
Now a couple of years ago I would have begged for them. It did finally find enough to make the son and wife a California King size quilt. Now that was lots of black and white fabric.
I would love to take them off your hands, but since the postage would cost more than the fabric, I will let someone else have them.
I would love to have the scraps if you don't mind :)
Some trees are being slow to change this year, hope the wind doesn't take them all prematurely
Hello Terry, I would love to have the black and white scraps...my younger sister has decorated her unit in black and white.....would make a gorgeous table runner for her....sadly my stash is lacking in that colourway...Hugs, O'faigh
Terry, I love your autumnal photos! Here by the sea, I don't see many of the fall colors because most of the trees are fir or spruce!!
I can see that I am among the many.... I am actually making a black/white/red quilt (think Scottie) and this would be great if I would be able to add more scraps. I would gladly pay postage for them. I am enjoying your blog--first time I've written in.
I have been collecting black and white fabrics for some time for some future quilts and since I am a scrappy quilt girl, the more variety, the better. So I would love to have your scraps! Thanks for offering them!
I started collecting black and white fabrics just this spring. I have a quilt that I want to make but I don't as a general rule sew with black or white. I was surprised when going through my stash that I didn't even have any white. One would think you would collect some along the way.
I'd love some black and white scraps but I understand if I'm too far away!
I never have enough blacks and whites. Count me in.
I love fall for the amazing display of colors. The crazy weather? Not so much!
Did i mention that i love scraps? And black and white? Lol thanks Terry!
Did i mention that i love scraps? And black and white? Lol thanks Terry!
Have been building my stash of black and whites for a quilt or something. Would love them - not sure if you want to post to Canada but if you do and you pick me, I'd be most grateful!
I love black and white. these scraps would make an adorable bag!
I would love to have them Terry if you need a good home for them...I could put them in my big scrap quilt I am working on....
That would be a great win. IMy son wants a black and white quilt and I have been picking up some pieces to do one. I plan to start it right after Christmas and have found the patteren that I want to make.
Black and white quilts are fun, especially if you throw in some touches of a bright color. Thanks for a chance at them.
I love black and white quilts. I've done 2 recently and would love to make another adding your scraps to mine :)

I'd love to win them. Not for me but for a friend of mine who is planning to make a black/white quilt for which she needed small scraps.
Autumn at its best.
I stumbled upon your site while searching for other quilting blogs. I am glad I did. I would love the black and white fabrics! If your mom passes on taking them batch, please consider me.
Well, back to reading your blog.
Happy sewing!
