Ready for Christmas

Emily and I got the Christmas tree put up on Sunday. Yesterday we finished our Christmas shopping. And my cards are ready to be mailed. Now I can sit back and enjoy December without rushing around to get things done! Well, except for the one Christmas gift I still need to make. I hope to get started on that today!

I have a bunch of these stars on my tree. My mom made them several years ago.

And this is one of my favorite ornaments...it's a button wreath I made a while back.

Your amazing Terry. Love, love, love the button ornament and star. I have a few Christmas things out, some that I have stored in a closet. The rest are in the attic and we need help getting those down.

Such a pretty tree - it looks so cozy and friendly.

I haven't started any decorating yet, but at least have finished my Christmas cards. The plan for the weekend is decorating and wrapping gifts. I LOVE wrapping gifts. :)

You over-achiever, you! Congrats on being so far ahead of the rest of us. Actually I have 4 of my 8 trees up. The cards are just waiting for us to take a cute picture to insert and we don't do a lot of shopping so that's really not a problem. But I do feel behind on all the Christmas quilts I want to make! hahaha

Okay. I will forward you the rest of my shopping, my christmas card list and I'll fly you out to put up my tree. :) I'm not too stressed. I'm actually in good shape this year. I've started wrapping. My shopping list is written. I know what picture I want to use for our Christmas card. Just need the TIME to do it all. Enjoy your relaxation time!

Glad you are almost ready for Christmas. I have one more project or 2 then I have to buy the food gifts closer to Christmas. My Breads, ornaments and cards have been done for awhile now. Still need to address them. Love the tree.
