I've made some progress on the quilt for Brian. I got all the four patch blocks made, then decided not to do sashing between the blocks after all. Instead I'm going to add a border or two once I have the blocks sewn together. So now that I've got them laid out how I want, I'll be able to get back to sewing.
And here are some notebooks Emily made for her friends for Christmas. She's so creative!

Love how the quilt is looking!!! Those notebooks are so cute!! I was going to make some more scrappy stars today, but think I have enough to put a top together.

Love the squares and borders will make it the size you want to make it.
She has so much talent. Love the work she does.
Cute quilt and love the notebooks!
The quilt is really coming together. I like the greens, been adding more green to my stash. It goes so well with so many colors.
Those notebooks will be long treasured by Emily's friends.
Ok, I just noticed the 2013 Sew Along button on your side bar. Did I miss something? You know you cannot put that up with no explanation.......

Oh my, the quilt is coming along wonderfully !! It'll be fun seeing what kind of borders you come up with.
Luv Brian's quilt...i did one like that for my husband and put a finished 1" sashing between the 4 patches and it looks great! really breaks up the blocks.
