Camo Curtains

A couple of years ago it came as no surprise that my son wanted camo curtains for his bedroom. He was 14 then and had just gotten into hunting. So I made him a set. Fast forward two years...and this time it's my daughter who wanted camo curtains. She's 14 now too but not into hunting...just into pickup trucks and camo anything. Before Christmas we bought the fabric and today was the day I finally got around to making them. She how has camo curtains in her room. I'm still not sure how well they go with the lime green polka dots on her wall, but that's not my problem. She wants to redo the whole room in camo, but that's not happening! LOL

When my daughter was that age, she wanted black laquer furniture. That wasn't happening in MY house. She grew out of it eventually. They always do. It's just whether we can bear it until then!

LOL, I'm giggling because our DGD, age 81/2 loves CAMO too. Her request from us for Christmas? A set of binoculars. Who knew?

Better than the black my brother wanted. It must run in the family though, Jonathan went on for ages about having a black bedroom. Blue is as close as it's getting!
Well done on another finish, I am sure Emily will be delighted

That's too funny. I'm sure she'll love them. Easy to take down and change when the fad leaves her.

I gather she thought the 'pink' camp fabric JUST WOULDN'T DO!?? HA!

CUTE! Wish I'd known your kids were into camo - hubby bought the biggest roll of camo fabric I'd ever seen in my life, at a garage sale, for $5. I think I used a tiny piece of it for a food tent, and got rid of the rest, lol.

I know my girls would've thought the camo curtain was "cool" when they were teens, lol.

Too funny! I think she would get along with my granddaughter...she's also a girl that doesn't worry about matching as long as it's something she likes! LOL
