Little Hexagons

Sorry for another post today, but I had a little finish that I just has to share with you. Another little treasure I brought home the other day from mom's was a little tiny hexagon flower block. Mom had made the hexagons (they finish at just an inch across) and sewed them onto a piece of fabric. When I saw it, I immediately thought PINCUSHION!! LOL So I brought it home and today I trimmed it, added the blue borders and now I have a new pincushion! I really love this one, partially because mom made it and partially because I don't do hexagons. So this is the only way I'll ever have any! LOL

Cute! Nice upcycle too. I don't do hexies either. They just look too complicated AND I don't hand-stitch (except for bindings)

So sweet and even better to have a touch of your mother's handwork.

Love what you did with this cute hexie!!! I'm afraid of cross stitch (need magnifying glass LOL!) but hexies I can do, you should try using one of the larger sizes, you just never know, you could end up loving them!!!!
