Secret Sewing and Lunar Eclipse

Just a quick warning...the first picture is intentionally blurry, just in case the person I'm making this for checks out my blog. I don't think she does, but you never know. I'm hoping this one goes together quickly. And yes...it's a brand new start, even though I have three (OK...three dozen) other things I'm working on right now! LOL

And I was up early this morning, even though I had the day off from work. There was a lunar eclipse starting around 5:15. I know this is a terrible picture, but it's the best I could do with my camera. Anyway, I'm glad I got up to see it because it was really cool!

I did manage to get two more charming star blocks made the other day. I have eight total made now. I'll have to get a picture of those soon to show you.

  1. I like the colors you are using on this project.

They said it would be neat to see. But I do not have a view in that direction. Thanks for the picture.

  3. We had heavy clouds and heavy rain - so there was no eclipse watching here.

  4. I completely forgot about the eclipse and I was so looking forward to it. ;-(

  5. I was up then, too, and luckily we had a view of the total eclipse. It was kind of a reddish color. I didn't even try to get it on my camera. From past experience, I know my little Canon point and shoot doesn't do it justice. : )

  10. Can't wait to see your secret project in focus! I was up this morning to view the eclipse, but it went down too quickly and with all the houses and trees in the way, I only saw a small part of it.

  16. Nice picture of the moon. I actually didn't even know it was happening, and I had watched the weather too. But the weatherman never said anything about watching for it.
