Gingerbread

Every year for as long as I can remember, we've bought a gingerbread house kit for the kids to put together. One year the neighbor girl helped. Last year my mom was here and she even helped. Today Emily and a friend of hers put together the one we bought last week. I wasn't here to see the big event, but I did get pictures of the finished product, which is, to say the least, interesting! LOL First of all, here's a nice picture of the one we did last year...

Isn't it pretty? Now...take a look at the one the girls did tonight...duct tape and all! LOL

I was pretty much speechless when Emily showed it to me! LOL But they had fun putting it together, and that's all that matters. :0)

  4. That is so funny. Looks better than the one I tried making with a client of mine. She was elderly and had a kit, but it was a mess, but at least we had fun making and eating it.

  9. They are originals. Reminds me of when the kids were little and they decorated the Christmas cookies, they had fun then and it was fun now for the girls. Have to admit the duct is a new one.
