More of the same

I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever sew again. Seriously. The longer I go without sewing, the less interest I have in even sitting at the machine. Well, I did have to fix a seam in the side of Emily's work pants yesterday, but I don't think that counts for anything. LOL Meanwhile the flowers are blooming and the butterflies are loving it. There are actually three butterflies in the first picture, although they're a bit hard to see. If you click on the picture to enlarge it you might find them all.

  2. Hang in there Terry, you'll get your sewing mojo back when you're ready. Summertime is hardest for me to keep my sewing going, but I'm doing better this year than I usually do. Fall is usually when I get re-energized to sew (when the weather starts to cool off). Guess it's the "back to school" thing . . .

  4. My cone flowers and spirea are attracting a lot of butterflies now too - love watching them. I pulled some brand new fabric to play with to re-plenish the soul.

  5. Found all three winged beauties.
I've gone through slumps where I didn't sew much for months, but other times my soul needs it daily to survive. As long as you are happy. : )

  6. You WILL sew again. It is just hard when there are so many things demanding your time. Your flowers are so pretty.

  10. I found all three butterflies! They are each very different. It must be so nice to have a garden that attracts such beauty. It's ok, you will have time for the sewing machine when it isn't so nice outside.

  14. Nice to see the flowers here on your blog, Terry! Took me a long time to understand the word mojo ( from some Australian bloggers ) . But I do, and we all go through it. Love checking all you have done from way back. AND thanks a lot for popping into my blog, means a lot to me :-)

  16. There is no need to rush it. It took me a couple of years to get back into doing anything creative after some difficult times. Sometimes we need a break, do something different and it will come back

  17. Don't push yourself we all go through phases like this and especially when you've just started back at work it's hard to find a smooth rhythm between work and home so take it easy on yourself and enjoy your summer :) Barb.
