A Day at the Lake

Emily and I went up to Lake Erie to the Marblehead Lighthouse today. It's always so peaceful and relaxing up there. It was cloudy so my pictures aren't very bright. We saw a bald eagle too, but I wasn't able to get a picture of it.

Seagull with a fish...

Toes in the water...

Seagull feather on the beach at the second place we went to...

  1. Love your garden photos in earlier posts, beautiful colours. No the feeling of trying to get so much done and ticking those jobs off. I have sewing mojo just need to get in the sewing room. Your day out photos are just glorious, looks very inviting for a stroll xxx

  3. It warms my heart when I read about your mother-daughter outings. My daughter just moved away to college and I miss her already.

I love the photo of the lighthouse.

  6. What a wonderful day for you and Emily. Tom and I recently spent a day doing this very thing and I was happy to remember how nice it is to walk along the shore, flip flops in hand. Your photos are always so nice. Thanks for taking us to the shore!

  14. GREAT pics!!! Oh what a lovely day. Can you believe I haven't made it to Lake Huron ONCE this year? Me either, lol. Well, I did hit Port Huron early in the year, but it was freezing and didn't count, lol. No dipping of toes that day!
