No sewing for me but...

I did do some sewing for a friend of a friend. A while back I was given an older quilt top that needed to be made into a quilt. Well, the gentleman I did it for was so pleased, he sent me three more tops to be finished off. I got these back from Joanne a couple of weeks ago and finally got the binding on. Now the friend of a friend has finished quilts made from tops his great aunt made, and everybody's happy! :0)

  7. Three gorgeous quilts!...how old are they, I'm guessing the papers would have also been hand cut, were they still in the tops. I'd really like to make a Grandmothers Garden, which is what I know the top & bottom quilt as. Annette, Melbourne, Australia

  11. Wow! Lots of great hexies. I friend recently sent a quilt top to me that she found in a box. She wanted to know if it was worth continuing with it, and I of course said YES! I have a feeling I'll be the one finishing it for her. Could be fun, and very satisfying.
