Baby robins

Every spring we find a nest or two of baby robins in the yard. I'm always amazed at how fast they grow up. I took the first picture three days ago and the second one today. They've changed so much in three days. Another five to six days and they'll be leaving the nest. There are four little ones in there...I couldn't tell in the first picture but I counted four beaks in the second one! :0)

  1. It is nice to see your pictures because we have no nests that I can see from the ground. They do grow very fast.

  3. Awww... we had a robin's nest for a few years, but something kept getting in it, so the mama finally gave up and moved elsewhere. They do grow quickly!

  4. Very sweet! Mother Robins often have a second family. Papa takes care of the fledglings while she readies another nest and sits the eggs. At least, that's what I remember reading, somewhere. XO
