One project done

I got Ava's birth sampler stitchery done in the nick of time. She'll be one year old next week and I promised myself I'd have it finished before her first birthday.

This is the rose I dug and brought with me when I moved. I kept it in the house all winter and it's doing great on the patio this summer.

I have a pot of wildflowers I planted from seed, and I bought the lavender to go in the pot when the wildflowers were done blooming. But they haven't stopped yet so the lavender is still sitting there. It sure does look pretty though and it smells so good.

At the old house I had a water garden with fish in it. This is a much smaller water feature but it's so much easier to take care of. It sounds so pretty and Ava loves to put her hands in the water.

Wow--your rose has thrived in spite of the upheaval. It is a beautiful color.
I love water features, but have never had one. I like the rustic look of this one.

  7. That is so adorable and such a treasure for her.
Your flowers are beautiful, I had two that I bought in, since they were tropical. They bloomed on and off all winter, took them outside and they died, oh well. I do want a water feature in my garden, love the idea of old buckets.
