Christmas cactus

When I was going through my batiks to cut them into 2-1/2 inch squares, I found a piece of fabric that I just couldn't cut into. I loved it just the way it was. So I ended up attaching it to a piece of background fabric with batting behind it and I framed it. It reminds me of the ocean.

When I moved into my apartment, I ended up giving most of my houseplants to my mom. They all love it at her house and are doing very well. I did keep one of my Christmas cactus and it's in bloom now. This one is so pretty! :0)

  1. That fabric does look like the ocean!
I inherited my MIL's Christmas Cacti when she passed last month. One of them is blooming now, but the blossoms seem to wilt as they open. It has been a long time since I had one of these plants and I don't know what I am doing wrong. Yours looks beautiful!
