Our week at the beach

Emily, Ava and I headed to the beach a few weeks ago. We had wonderful weather and we all had a great time. We're already looking forward to the next time we can get down there.

The one place we visited besides the beach was the Mote Aquarium. Of course all the sea creatures were very cool, but they also had a display to bring awareness to all the sea debris that is in our oceans and waterways. All the sculptures were made debris that had been washed ashore. To learn more and to see more sculptures you can visit Washed Ashore.

  2. Beautiful pictures. There is so much trash in our waters. Too bad people are not more careful of taking their trash home and keeping our waters clean.

  4. It looks like you had a wonderful time and nice weather. Our aquarium had an art show like that, wonderful that they can take what is junk, and make something beautiful with it.

  9. Your pictures are beautiful Terry. And I am sorry about your lost dream. Beach living is very expensive, and taxes are high. Unless someone has lived there for years, it can come at a very high cost. I hope you will keep coming back to our beautiful sunshine state and enjoy the beaches.
