Christmas and a New Year

I just realized how long its been since I last posted. The time really does fly by, although not much of note has been happening. We had a lovely Christmas. One of the highlights was putting together a gingerbread house. It was a group effort which was fun. I think we may make this a new family tradition and do it every year! :0)

I moved into a small apartment by myself the beginning of the month. I've been taking Ava to school four days a week since my move and will keep doing that until Emily gets a car. Ava may actually end up living here for a while until Emily can get on her feet financially and get settled. Here's the little imp at preschool today. The teacher wanted to take her picture and she refused to smile until he commented on the mess she'd made with her picture...then she gave him the biggest smile as if she was proud of her mess! lol

That's all for now. I've been busy unpacking and trying to get organized. I hope to get to some sewing one of these days.

  4. Ava is growing up so quickly. Seems like only yesterday she was a newborn. Gingerbread houses are the best! It's such a fun tradition for little ones. Have fun unpacking and resettling, Terry. Happy new year.
