Little things

Not much going on here this week. No more sewing yet but I did press my background fabric so I can get it cut into charm squares one of these days. I did do a wee bit of crafting though...I found some wooden letters a while back and picked up the three I needed for Ava's name. Then I covered the front of them with scrapbooking paper and added some butterflies. It's not much but I think they're cute and it will be something for Ava to have in her new bedroom. It's hard to tell but the letters have dots on the front.

Mom and dad and I went houseplant shopping the other day and I came home with a tiny palm tree. OK, I know it's not really a palm tree but it reminds me of one and that's all that matters! lol This little thing is just barely six inches tall. Now I just need a tiny flamingo to go next to it! lol

  2. Love the letters, you did a good job on them.
I really enjoyed the house plant trip. I did not get away with just 1 plant but I loved that you helped me pick them out.

  6. A very cute way to decorate Ava's room. Nice job.
I have one of those "little" plants--it is now a couple of feet tall. I agree that it gives a nice "Palm Tree" effect.

  7. Hi, Terry! Haven’t been by in awhile, so scrolled through your previous posts. Am glad you decided to continue to blog after all! I’ll try to stop by more often. I love Ava's letters. Such a clever idea, so fresh and cheery. I’ll bet the little cutie really likes them!
